Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — Governor Larry Rhoden wants to upgrade the National Guard readiness center in Sturgis. Rhoden is hoping to pay for the upgrade with two-point-four million in state funds and eight-million in federal funds. He also wants to build a vehicle maintenance shop next to the readiness center to accommodate larger military vehicles.
