Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — A brave employee thwarted a robbery near 6th and Cleveland early Saturday morning. At 3:15 AM on Saturday two employees were working at a store when two men came in. One man grabbed a bottle of vodka and set it on the counter. Instead of paying for the vodka he held a knife in one hand and then tried punching the two employees with the other hand. According to Officer Sargeant Aaron Benson One of the employees took the man to the ground while the other employee called the cops. In the chaos the second man slipped away. The police came and arrested Tyrel Redbird for attempted robbery.
