Pierre, South Dakota (KELO.com) — The checks haven’t arrived yet, but SNAP nutrition benefits should start flowing this week in South Dakota. There’s still uncertainty on whether full or partial benefits will be paid this month because of the government shutdown. State officials say they’re working to minimize any further delays now that Congress appears to be headed toward re-opening government operations.
