Road construction crews are putting the finishing touches on this year’s projects in the Sioux Falls area. More than 750 blocks of city streets were improved with maintenance projects this year. The major projects at Veterans and Arrowhead Parkways are being prepared for winter traffic. State Highway projects supervisor Kirk Henderson says the Arrowhead Parkway project and work on I-229 & Cliff exit will be back for round two next spring. Work will also begin on a new interchange at I-29 and 85th Street this fall or early next spring.
