South Dakota (KELO.com) — Just two days to go before SNAP nutrition benefits are lost for the month of November. State Department of Social Services officials say if the benefits aren’t funded for November, recipients won’t receive benefits for that month. That affects nearly 75-thousand South Dakotans who receive food stamp benefits. The State of South Dakota is not providing any SNAP benefits because they will not be reimbursed by the federal government.
