SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man is accused of murdering another man and trying to burn his body in a ditch east of Brandon.
Lamont Dion Walker, 48, is also accused of kidnapping and raping a woman.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Department says the woman was the dead man’s girlfriend.
Walker is charged with killing Saivaughn Carlstrom, 22, of Sioux Falls. There are reports that Carlstrom was shot in the head.
His family has released a photo of Carlstrom used in this story.
Walker faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, and second-degree rape.
Authorities say the woman was rescued on Sunday.
