Sailors made a special visit to Sanford Children’s Hospital during Navy Week

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sailors from the U.S. Navy’s Meteorology and Oceanography team made a special visit to Sanford Children’s Hospital. As part of Navy Week, the crew handed out Navy swag and spent time chatting with kids and families. One patient who loved the visit was 15-year-old Ephraim Katz, who lit up talking about action movies with the sailors. His mom says visits like this bring a big boost of positivity. The Navy’s brass quintet also stopped by to perform for patients, wrapping up a day full of music, laughter, and meaningful connections.
