SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A late-night robbery and vehicle rollover occurred last night in Sioux Falls.
According to the Sioux Falls Police Department, Wednesday night around 11:50 officers responded to a robbery in the area of the 1300 block of W. Russell.
Several subjects approached the victim and threatened them with a firearm, then stole the victim’s vehicle and fled.
A short time later a vehicle rollover crash happened in the area of W. Madison Street and N. Elmwood Avenue.
The subjects then fled the vehicle after the crash. The vehicle matched the stolen vehicle and was located with one person suffering injuries nearby.
The person was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On October 28th around 11:50 p.m. Sioux Falls Police Department Officers responded to the area of the 1300 block of W. Russell for a robbery that just occurred. Information was provided by the victim that several subjects approached them and threatened with a firearm, then stole the victim’s vehicle and fled. A short time later a vehicle rollover crash was called in the area of W. Madison St. and N. Elmwood Ave. It was also reported that several subjects fled the vehicle after the crash. The vehicle involved in the crash matched the stolen vehicle and one subject was located with injuries nearby. The injured subject was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and the investigations are ongoing at this time
