PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The effort to bring TikTok operations to South Dakota appears to be moving forward. Wyoming businessman Reid Rasner’s company – Rasner Media – is offering over 47-billion dollars for the company. If his bid goes through, he’d like to consider placing some elements of the company in the state. He’ll be touring several locations with Governor Larry Rhoden. Security concerns over the Chinese ownership of TikTok led President Trump to order the company be sold to an acceptable bidder, or face a U.S. ban of the social media giant.
