SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating two election-related matters.
In the first matter, police are investigating a possible fraudulent ballot submitted to the Minnehaha County Auditor’s Office.
The office notified police when they saw a ballot come in from a person who had died earlier in October.
Officer Sam Clemens said there was a death certificate but the auditor’s office had concerns about the signatures on the ballot.
Sioux Falls Police detectives are looking into the ballot situation.
In the second matter, police are investigating Trump graffiti being sprayed on various objects downtown over the weekend.
The police have made no arrests yet.
