PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Several news organizations are examining former Governor Kristi Noem’s use of two state government credit cards while in office. The Dakota Scout filed a lawsuit to gain access to the spending records. Governor Larry Rhoden says he often forgets he carries a state-issued credit card, so his use will be fairly limited. “It won’t be an issue with me,” he told reporters. The credit card records from former Governor’s Noem’s time in office revealed over 600-thousand dollars in charges for high-end hotels, vehicle rentals and meals over several years.
