BROOKINGS COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — Brookings County officials have arrested a Sioux Falls man in connection with a recent video lottery machine theft in Volga, thanks to public help and a Crime Stoppers tip. Jacob Gertsema is being held in the Brookings County Detention Center. Arrest warrants were also issued for Kenneth Carder and Larissa Messenbrink – both also from Sioux Falls. They’re accused of breaking into a video lottery machine at a small casino and taking cash.
