Bomb unit search of proposed penitentiary site comes up empty

LINCOLN COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — They’re sounding the “all clear” on the site of a proposed men’s penitentiary near Harrisburg.  A concerned citizen reported seeing people near old farm buildings that previously held explosive materials.  The Division of Criminal Investigation and Lincoln County law enforcement swept the scene Wednesday afternoon, but say no explosives were found.
