EAGLE BUTTE, SD (KELO.com) — Relationships between Governor Kristi Noem and South Dakota’s Indian tribes are warming up as she heads to Washington. The Dakota Scout reports the Standing Rock Tribe has become the second to fully endorse the Governor’s appointment as Secretary of Homeland Security. Tribal officials sent a letter of support to the leaders of the committee that conducted Noem’s confirmation hearing.
