SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A construction accident in Sioux Falls has left one person dead.
On Thursday a contractor was working on a large tower light pole along Interstate 229 near exit 9 when the pole began to lean and fell across the northbound lanes of I-229, striking a passing vehicle.
The driver, a 60 year old Sioux Falls man, died from his injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash
