Dusty Johnson in the inner circle of House Speaker’s team

WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — With the opening of the 119th session of Congress, Representative Dusty Johnson is emerging as a key ally of newly-re-elected House Speaker Mike Johnson.  Dusty Johnson was in the inner circle of those assigned to round up the votes Speaker Johnson needed to retain his post, going to conservative hold-outs on the basis of the issues they want to address.

Despite last week’s contentious vote on the Speaker, Dusty Johnson says the GOP is united on the main issues, and he believes they’ll make strong progress on that front.
