PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was a justified use of force.
Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that two Yankton Police Officers were correct when they shot Andrew Jondahl on December 5th.
Jondahl, 40, had been ejected from an event at Yankton High School for being intoxicated.
When police arrived, Jondahl was in his truck, making threats and holding a long gun.
When he exited his truck, he was holding two shotguns in a manner that threatened the officers.
Jondahl was hit with four non-life threatening shots.
No one else was injured.
