SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Guilty on all counts.
That’s the verdict handed down this week in the trial of a child predator.
Gerber David Santos Gonzalez, age 25, of Sioux Falls was convicted on charges of Attempted Enticement of a
Minor Using the Internet and Sex Trafficking of a Child by Force or Coercion.
Santos Gonzalez attempted to entice a girl on Facebook messenger, whom he thought was 15 years old, to have sex with him, offering $100 for the encounter.
He was actually in contact with law enforcement, who then arrested him at a scheduled rendezvous in a Sioux Falls park.
He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
