SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The number of high-profile cases is stacking up for Sioux Falls police. There are changing facts in a kidnapping case that began last week…but a Sioux Falls man is still being held on a quarter-million dollar bond. 30-year old Edgar Segura was accused of abducting a woman off the street last week, taking her to an apartment where she was bound, assaulted and knocked unconscious. Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says parts of the story are being questioned.
The woman was knocked unconscious, taken out of the city and tied to a pole in rural Minnehaha County, where she was able to flag down someone to help. Investigators are still working on the case.
