PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — They’re called Deep Fakes, but there’s nothing fake about the charges. Attorney General Marty Jackley says 56-year old William Bragg of Aberdeen has been indicted on seven counts of possessing Child Pornography – produced with artificial intelligence. He’s the first person to face charges under a new law passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor this year.
If convicted, Bragg faces up to 75-years in prison.
