SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Penitentiary and Jameson Annex in Sioux Falls are on lockdown. So far, officials aren’t releasing any details on the cause of the lockdown or how long it might last. Attorney visits are being allowed, but all other visits are being cancelled. Prison officials say phone service may also be disabled temporarily at times.
