PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — State Corrections officials are notifying law enforcement and public about a high-risk offender who was just released from prison. Corrections Secretary Kellie Wasko says 34-year old Cory Yellow Boy has a high risk of reoffending based on his history and assessments. Yellow Boy was released from prison last week after serving all of his time for being failure to update his address as a sex offender, possession of a controlled substance and eluding a police officer. He is not on parole supervision because he completed his entire sentence.
Yellow Boy has been released in the Rapid City area. He is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
