SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The city of Sioux Falls is ramping up its war on mosquitoes. That war was going well until all of the recent flooding created plenty of standing water mosquitoes use for nesting. City environmental health Manager Dominic Miller says now, city crews have to go after adult mosquitoes.
That spraying will take place in the evenings, when mosquito activity peaks. Miller says workers will also be out during the day.
You can also help by dumping any standing water and spraying your property.
