SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Levitt at the Falls is about to go year-round. A generous gift from Kathy and Dick Sweetman will produce some major changes a the Levitt Shell. Levitt President and CEO Nancy Halverson says it opens the door to more performances and more programming.
As the Levitt expansion project is about to get underway, the Jacobson Plaza is taking shape and is expected to be completed a year from now. Halverson says it’s being designed by the same architect that drew up plans for Jacobson Plaza.
Halverson says construction of the Levitt Shell prompted developers to convert one of the least desirable areas of the city into some of the most desirable.
The Levitt’s summer concert season kicks off with Grammy winner Terrance Simien on Friday the 31st.
