SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Alzheimer’s Association of South Dakota wants Gov. Kristi Noem to put some of the nearly one billion dollars in coronavirus money the state has received toward rapid testing at all long term care facilities.
The group says patients with Alzheimer’s or dementia have been hard hit with isolation from their loved ones because of the virus.
They say rapid testing will help prevent the spread of the virus and protect a vulnerable population.
