SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls City Council will discuss growing concerns about pedestrian safety on city streets at Tuesday’s informational meeting.
“..This has been a hot topic for many citizens,” says Councilor Christine Erickson.
She and Councilor Greg Neitzert have asked the police department to come forward and discuss the issue with council.
Erickson says there are many intersections with people approaching cars, and the city just wants to educate the community on what can and can’t be done.
The informational is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Carnegie Hall.
