COLMAN, S.D. (KELO.com) — A car chase on Highway 34 near Colman ended in tragedy.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has confirmed that a South Dakota law enforcement officer was killed in the line of duty Friday afternoon stemming from a vehicle pursuit in Moody County.
“Our hearts go out to the officer’s family and all those serving in the officer’s department,” said Attorney General Jackley.
One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Names of the deceased officer and their law enforcement agency have not yet been released.
