YANKTON, SD (KELO.com) — The Legislative Session is still a month and a half away, and already the fur is flying. State Chamber of Commerce President Dave Owen is traveling the state preparing for the session. He believes corn and ethanol producers will raise their voices in support of carbon capture pipelines, saying the pipelines are key for the ethanol industry.
Pipeline opponent Ed Fischback disagrees, and says the chamber and its members need to reconsider their support for the pipelines.
Owen and Fischback will get the chance to speak face to face today, at the Chamber Pre-legislative session luncheon in Aberdeen today.
