SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Emergency Lane Closure – 41st Street
Beginning this evening on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, the outside eastbound lane on West 41st Street will be closed at Holbrook Avenue.
The Sioux Falls Public Works Department will be repairing a water main and patching the concrete.
This work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, September 25, 2020.
Driver are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction and may want to consider alternate routes.
Intersection Lane Closures –
Louise Avenue and Shirley Avenue
Beginning on Friday, September 18, 2020, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the intersection of Louise Avenue and Shirley Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement patching. The lanes closed within the intersection will vary daily as crews progress with the repairs, however, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times while work is occurring. All lanes will be open to traffic between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
