SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man is charged with impersonating a police officer. Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a woman noticed she was being followed in her car, and stopped to confront the man behind her.
44-year old Ronald Steef sped off in his car, but the victims were able to get enough information for police to make an arrest. What should you do if you’re being followed? Safety is the top priority so call police if you can. And, if you can’t call, Officer Clemens has some advice.
Stay away from isolated, dark neighborhood streets and go to a populated area.
