Brookings, S.D. (KELO.com) — You may remember the name Conner Hanson, back in 2015 the then 17-year-old was accused of shooting and killing Anthony Gabriel near the Empire Mall.
Hanson was found not guilty of all charges in that case.
Since then Hanson has been in and out of jail on various charges including stalking and threatening his former girlfriend, possession of methamphetamine, and assault. He was also one of three caught with methamphetamine in the Minnehaha County jail.
Hanson is in trouble with the law again.
According to the Brookings County States Attorney office, Hanson is in jail for violation of the 24/7 program as a condition of his probation that was given for the offense of Unauthorized Ingestion of Controlled Substance (Meth). He will be held for 48 hours.
