SIOUX FALLS, SD. (KELO.com) — A man was arrested on Sunday and has several charges against him after punching a woman while she was holding her 5-month-old baby.
Authorities say 29-year-old Marshoul Joseph Philemon violated the protection order his ex-girlfriend had against him and broke into her home.
Police say he punched the woman while she was holding her baby, then threatened to kill her.
Philemon is being charged with assault, burglary and abuse or cruelty to a minor.
The woman and baby had no serious injuries.
