SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closures –
Phillips Avenue and 18th Street
Beginning on Monday, September 7, 2020, parking on the south side of West 18th will be restricted between South Main Avenue and South Phillips Avenue. On Tuesday morning September 8, 2020, the southbound lane of Phillips Avenue will be closed to the north of 18th Street and the eastbound lane of 18th Street will be closed at Phillips Avenue. Two-way traffic will be maintained on both roads with the southbound and eastbound traffic utilizing the left turn lanes.
Dave’s Construction will be performing directional drilling.
This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day on September 9, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – 14th Street
Beginning after the a.m. peak on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2020, the outside westbound lane on 14th Street at Cliff Avenue will be closed.
Danielson Incorporated will be installing utilities and over the course of the closure they will gradually move from Cliff Avenue west along 14th Street up to Phillips Avenue.
The work is anticipated to be complete by October 25, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
