SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old girl yesterday (Tuesday).
Artavius Louisdouglasl Gregerabdo, 18, of Sioux Falls, sits in jail on aggravated assault and reckless discharge of a firearm.
The incident occurred yesterday morning in the 700 block of East 15th Street.
Police say Gregerabdo was handling the gun, it fired, and a bullet struck the girl in the head.
The victim is in the hospital in critical condition.
Yesterday, the police would not release information about the incident, thinking it involved juveniles.
