SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) —
Military Veterans with a troubled past are in for some help in Sioux Falls.
The Veterans’ Tiny Homes Community project unveiled its first five tiny homes over the weekend.
Veterans who faced problems and were dishonorably discharged can’t go to the VA for help.
The Veterans Community project is privately funded…so Executive Director Alisha Grove says it’s able to fill that gap.
The program provides transitional housing for vets…and covers virtually all of their expenses.
It boasts an 86% success rate in helping veterans get a fresh start in life.
