SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — There were two aggravated assaults in Friday morning’s Police Briefing.
The first occurred Thursday night at East 11th and Thompson Avenue where a large crowd gathered.
A man came out of an apartment building with a machete and was threatening people with it. He went back into his apartment where the police found him and his machete.
Christopher Joseph Dangelo, 49, of Sioux Falls, has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault.
The second happened around 8 p.m. at 10th and Sycamore.
The victim was walking along the sidewalk when her ex-boyfriend drove by. He threw two unopened pop cans at her. They hit her in the leg and the stomach. She went to the hospital on her own to get checked out. There were no serious injuries.
Police arrested Noah Andrew Cole, 22, of Sioux Falls at his home and charged him with aggravated assault domestic.
