SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — While many of us are ready for winter to be over, the National Weather Service says they have this bit of bad news. Nearly 40% of the Top 25 single-day snowfalls have occurred in March or April. Top 25 snowfalls range between 9.6 and 18.1 inches for Sioux Falls. The most recent March or April single-day snowfall to hit the top 25 for Sioux Falls was April 14th, 2018 when 13.7 inches fell on the city.
