HURON, S.D. (KELO.com) — Numerous arrests were made in Huron this morning (2/18) after an officer heard what he believed to be gunshots in the northeast part of the city. The Huron Police Department says shortly after hearing the gunshots an officer stopped an individual for erratic driving. Officers discovered the driver had been shot and medical aid was rendered. During the investigation, which is still ongoing, it was determined multiple parties exchanged gunfire. Several arrests have been made. Law enforcement was not involved in the gunfire exchange.
