LAKE HURON, MI (KELO.com) — An airborne object was shot down by an F-16 over Lake Huron in Michigan Sunday afternoon, at the direction of President Biden. In a statement from the U.S. Department of Defense, the path and altitude had raised concerns including that it could be a hazard to civil aviation. The release goes on to say that based on the flight path and data of the object, it can be connected to the radar signal picked up over Montana on Saturday. This is the third object to be shot down by U.S. fighter planes in as many days.
