
PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Many of South Dakota’s retailers had a better than expected 2022 and are optimistic about 2023 according to Nathan Sanderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association. Workforce shortages did continue to plague businesses, however. Sanderson says the budget will be something the Retailers Association will be watching in the upcoming legislative session. Adding, they will probably be playing more defense than asking for bills to be introduced.
