SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has been gathering snowfall reports following Thursday’s snowstorm.
While their office at Joe Foss Field reported receiving 7.4 inches of snow, totals in Sioux Falls varied widely depending on where you live.
Southeastern Sioux Falls saw 9.2 inches of snow, while the city’s west side saw totals reach right around 8.5 inches.
The highest total inside city limits was 10 inches, reported in central Sioux Falls near Covell Lake.
Reports across the area include 9.5 inches in Harrisburg, 7 inches in Tea, 5 inches in Dell Rapids, and just 3 inches in Canistota.
