SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls School District says there’s a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Washington High School.
This is the first confirmed case of the new school year.
There are reports the case is possibly connected to the Washington High football team, but the School District’s DeeAnn Konrad will only specify that it is someone at the school. However, Konrad does add that there has been no discussion about pushing the football season back.
“We are working this case just like we have every other case up to this point, and every case we have in the future.”
KELO.com News has emailed State Epidemiologist Josh Clayton for more details, but as of this published story, he had not yet gotten back to us.
This is a developing story
