SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Another officer involved shooting has occurred in Sioux Falls.
Shortly after 5 P.M. on Monday, Sioux Falls Police responded to the area of Yukon Trail and North Olympia Drive after a man called police telling them he was armed and that he was “about to commit a felony”.
Police eventually arrived at the scene, and the ensuing encounter resulted in an officer shooting the subject.
Officers provided aid until paramedics arrived and transported the subject to a local hospital where he was rushed into surgery.
