WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds wants quick action in the Senate
Rounds and 23 of his Senate colleagues sent a letter to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer demanding the Senate vote on the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act before the end of September.
The U.S. House of Representatives approved its version of the legislation in July with broad bipartisan support.
Among other priorities, the legislation funds military technology and delivers a 4.6 percent pay raise to America’s service members.
