SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — An officer-involved shooting in Sioux Falls on July 11th, near 6th and Cleveland, has been deemed justified. South Dakota Attorney General Mark Vargo and the DCI released their report today, which found a suspect had aimed a firearm at an officer before officers responded with gunfire. The officers rounds struck the vehicle the suspect and two others were in. While the two exited the vehicle and complied with officers, a taser was used on the suspect who crawled away attempting to escape. No one was injured in the incident.
