SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — “Kids Ride Free” officially kicked off in Sioux Falls. All Sioux Falls Metro buses are free for anyone ages 11 to 17 with a current school ID or Freedom Pass. Children under 10 always ride free but must be accompanied by an adult. The “Kids Ride Free” transit program is available on weekdays, SAM on Demand on Saturdays, and paratransit services. Kids without a current school ID can get a Freedom Pass from Sioux Area Metro at no cost.
