SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A new study says that n Sioux Falls, nearly 11.9% of commuters don’t wear seat belts.
That’s the 2nd highest share of commuters of all small U.S. metros.
Out of all Sioux Falls commuters killed in car accidents, nearly 60.9% were not wearing seat belts.
Statewide, the numbers are even worse.
In South Dakota, 15.0% of commuters don’t wear seat belts, the 2nd highest share of commuters of all U.S. States.
Out of all South Dakota commuters killed in car accidents, 71.2% were not wearing seat belts.
