One billion dollars! Sioux Falls hits new building permit milestone in record time

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The building boom continues in Sioux Falls.

The City’s Butch Warrington told KELO Radio’s It’s Your Business with Bill Zortman that the city surpassed $1 billion in building permits yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

It was a $150,000 downtown business remodeling that put the city over the $1 billion mark.

Last year, it took until the end of November to hit the $1 billion mark and also set a record.
