SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) –Another storm in the Sioux Falls area has caused more damage, this time the tornado sirens did go off.
Emergency Manager for the City of Sioux Falls Regan Smith told Kelo.com News, that there was a tornado warning issued for the extreme eastern side of the city and that triggered the siren system to sound, he wasn’t aware of a tornado in the city.
The tornado siren also went off in Brandon and Valley Springs.
Huset’s Speedway in Brandon received severe damage to the scoring tour and suites.
The damage did cause Huset’s officials to cancel Monday night’s race program, however, no one was injured.
Sheriff Mike Milstead says the county does have a lot of tree damage, and down power lines.
