SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A kidnapping took place early this morning in Sioux Falls.
An eleven-year-old girl’s relative abducted her.
Police were able to track down their location after a couple of hours.
They had tried to convince the man to meet, to ascertain whether the girl was in danger, but the man refused.
Eugene Paul Martin, age 40 of Sioux Falls, was arrested and charged with first degree kidnapping.
It’s as yet unknown why the girl went with the man. No evidence of force was found. The girl was returned safely home.
